We're celebrating Presidents! We're learning about some of our most famous presidents which includes Abraham Loncoln. Besides learning about what he fought for, we learned about his childhood. We learned that he was born and raised in a cabin made of logs which eventually created the "Lincoln Log"! With this lesson, we were able to make our very own Lincoln logs. Each of us received a handful of stick pretzels to start building our logs. We used frosting to hold these logs together even though frosting accidently got on our fingers way too many times. What a yummy lesson this was! |
